A little about me…

My name is Mychailo. You may know me as Mike Kovaliv, though I now use my given name. I’m a portrait, headshot & commercial photographer based in Windsor Ontario, Canada.

Photography is a journey, a never-ending path of experience, vision and connection. Connection to my internal voice & vision, and connection of that voice to the world around me. The art in a photograph is to tell a story, to portray a feeling, and to make a connection with the viewer that leaves an image in their memory.

I consider it a privilege to create an image of another person. To be allowed into that personal moment, that personal space, that essence of who they are, and to develop a photograph that can touch the heart & mind is the art I constantly strive to create.
